Entry and Customs in Finland

Customs

Finland is part of the Schengen agreement, and that means you can cross the border of Finland to and from Norway and Sweden when carrying only duty-free goods.
The Finnish-Russian border can be crossed at various locations such as Vaalimaa, open 24 hours, Vainikkala by railway, Nuijamaa, open 24 hours, and Imatra, open from 7am to 10pm, which leads into Finland.
That being said, there are customary restrictions in Finland for carrying certain goods through the airport or ferry port.
Check updated guidelines before you travel, and be sure to have your passport ready to go.
A visa is not necessary for short stays.
